I bet you didn’t know that today (Jan. 9) is National Apricot Appreciation Day. Now, not only do you have this very important knowledge, but you also have a delicious drink recipe to celebrate with. You’re welcome! Prosecco and apricot sangria is a delicious concoction that’s easy to batch up. It’s also a great way to get rid of those extra bottles of prosecco you have lying around after the holidays.

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces apricot brandy
  • 1 bottle of prosecco chilled
  • 1 can of apricot nectar
  • 1 sliced peach (optional)

At least one hour prior to drinking, combine the apricot brandy with the apricot nectar and peach slices so it has time to infuse. Add chilled prosecco, stir, and serve over ice.
