On Friday December 19th on a company conference call Gene Lee president of Darden’s specialty restaurant group, including the Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze and Seasons 52 concepts said:
“The network of sales and marketing managers Capital Grille has deployed in every market is a competitive advantage and the company fully utilized this structure to implement sales building initiatives in the second quarter with a focus on building group and private dining sales.”
It is critical that restaurants start using software to help them manage the sales cycle, prospect for new business, and understand who their customers really are. Paper and notebooks just will not cut it anymore. Times have changed and for a restaurant to be successful they will have to change too.
