Feature Release: Attachments to Discussions and More

Fast on the heels of our recent release of the Guest Portal in February we have just released and rolled out Attachements for Discussions. Attachments was one of our biggest requests and we have delivered! With this update you can attach any documents, like floor plans or menus or pictures to any Discussion in the Event or from the Lead page.

The Discussion will work as it does now, delivering an email to your client, but now it will have any document you attach to it. Just like your email software. No longer will you have to leave Tripleseat and go to your email software to attach a menu or document. You can do everything from Tripleseat.  If you send an attachment from a Discussion from a Lead and you convert the Lead to an Event, all the communication, including the attachment now flows seamlessly into the Event.

We have also updated the how you Share a Document and send an Attachment from the Discussion section. Now, the Share feature allows you to share multiple Tripleseat Docs and have attachments. For example, let’s say you want to share your Contract and BEO and they are separate Docs, now you can select both and the Share that is sent from Tripleseat will have a link to BOTH documents and BOTH documents will be on the Guest Portal too.
